Carry Hope, Not Just Belongings
Thousands of foster children face uncertainty every day. Help us provide suitcases to bring dignity and hope during difficult transitions
Our MISSION
The Carry On Project is dedicated to giving children in foster care the dignity they deserve during life’s most difficult transitions. By replacing trash bags with duffle bags, backpacks, and suitcases, we aim to restore hope and provide a sense of belonging to children uprooted from their homes.
OUR STORY
The Carry On Project began with one act of kindness and a bright pink duffle bag. Founder Kobi Skye Padgett was just a teenager when a girl her own age arrived at her home carrying everything she owned in three black trash bags. Moved by the girl’s story of loss, resilience, and the injustice of her circumstances, Kobi realized she could make a difference.
